Interactive Wedding Floral Price Calculator

It’s hard to gauge if your floral budget is reasonable if you don’t know what things cost, or if you don’t have your design nailed down. How are non-florists supposed to understand the process of creating a realistic wedding floral budget?

When you inquire about wedding florals, your florist will ask you about your budget. For some clients, this can be a difficult question. We want to design flowers that fit within your budget- but Instagram and Pinterest can have us totally misunderstanding what things really cost. Not to mention- once the guest list starts getting lengthy, the cost of everything starts to rise. From setting expectations, to searching for the florist that’s right for you- understanding how far your budget can bring you is important.

I’ve created multiple price guides with minimums for different arrangement types- but I don’t think looking at the prices as individual line items is enough. I myself get surprised when I price out the cost of an arrangement, and then multiply it by 10 or 15 tables. The cost of the overall order total jumps up quickly. I wanted to take the idea of a “price guide” a step further- by converting it into a calculator.

On this calculator- you can type in how many items you think you may need for your wedding. The calculator will take your information, and convert it into a “minimum estimate”.

Please note that a minimum is a minimum- if you envision orchids, anthuriums, and other premium flowers, the price of your order is going to grow fast. If you want a larger arrangement than our typical sizes, the stem count will change and the price will adjust. Styling your reception to the max? Specialty vases may cost extra.

There are so many variabilities with building floral designs that can impact the cost. The cost of flowers changes weekly, and each floral design has a different recipe & stem count. Our minimums were created by finding our lowest average cost of arrangements of each size.

You can test your budget out here to see if your expectation matches your reality.
