Raising our prices again (but this time it’s for your sake?)
Yep, you heard that right- we are raising prices in your honor. How is that helpful to you, and not us?
Great question.
I’m not raising our prices in the sense that each stem costs more, or our labor percentage is raising. Instead, our minimum is raising.
I had what I would consider a generous minimum ($5,000 for summer weddings). Low enough to open the door to more clients, but not high enough that I don’t have to grind as a sales woman. This is fine and dandy, although I am see a very strong theme within the lower section of this price range:
When clients have a budget from $5,000-$8,000, I find that they only have the option to go all out on either their ceremony OR their reception- but not both.
I don’t take any personal offense to this being what is attainable in that price range, or even if this is a choice. Going flower crazy doesn’t have to be for everyone…but it is for me (the designer).. and I want my creative visions to explode into reality.
I want to design the wedding of your dreams. If your dreams are like my dreams, it doesn’t cost $5,000. It probably doesn’t cost $8,000 either.. but it might! That is the new “bare minimum” around here.
Raising my minimum to $8,000 is my method of attraction. After flowering over 100 weddings and events, myself and my team have enough experience, to want to prioritize those larger, more creative, flower forward designs.
I would be perfectly happy servicing a few less clients, putting more thought and intention into each design, and creating more larger scale designs.
Our new minimum will rise to $8,000 for summer 2027 weddings. We will still honor our $5,000 minimum from September-May. Our event will maintain a $500 minimum.
